Home Security Defenses--Stay Protected!

The job of my husband requires him to take many trips in different states. I take care of our business in the city whenever he is away so I could not really go with him.

What's more, our three children are still too young to be left alone. I took charge of the installation of the various home security defenses comprising of spy camera devices, wireless defense system, entry and pool alarms because my spouse is not around every weekends.

I guessed I perceived a noise coming from outside one late night which disturbed my nap. I wondered if I had activated the voice-controlled driveway alarm however, I had the impression it was on.

I was sure if there was a burglar one of our several home security defenses would have alarmed already. I was still feeling paranoid that somebody was attempting to burglarize my home.

My husband was asleep so, I did not try wake him up and headed to the ground floor to check if our various home security defenses were all turned on. Right away I spotted that the magnetic door alarm on the front entry was indeed turned on.

While I stayed there inspecting our glass breakage alarms, my peripheral vision suddenly perceived a figure. If I passed through the kitchen to go upstairs again I believed it would just let the probable thief notice me.

I headed to the back door as silently as possible where movement-triggered automatic dialer security alarm was fixed. I wished it would sense my motion and send off an alarm to warn my spouse and the cops. Luckily, it did.

The police caught two men in the act of exiting a weak point at the gate. Apparently, they had been trying, in vain, to get past our tight home security defenses at the doors and windows when I tripped the alarm that scared them away.
